For Reina herself, recently she had another weird dream, and she thinks we'll all go "HA?!".....and that is, she saw Mona Lisa in her dream. It was in a mansion, she was playing tag with a lot of her friends. So there are staircases in the mansion... she believes the place was 3 stories high. So she got out from the elevator to the staircase to search for people. When she opened the door, so saw a women there. When she took a closer look, she realized it was Mona Lisa. Reina thought it was scary, so weird to have Mona Lisa there, especially how she imagine Mona Lisa with a sad expression, in a big dress. It was like she was looking for someone. Reina hopes that a listener can help figure out what this dream means because it's really bothering her for a while. Reina didn't get a chance to mention it last year, but she finally has a chance to say it now. [Morning Musume - Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai] Listener's Mail corner: A listener asks Reina what she does for stress relieve. Reina says she often has a lot of stress built up. She tries to not take her stress home, since that's not a good thing. Reina says she already doesn't spend enough time at home as it is, she can't treat her mom and brother poorly. For relieve, she goes out with friends and talk about the unhappy things about work etc, having girls talk and let it all out there, but without referring to names. Even if her friends won't fully understand, at least Reina can let it off her mind. And then go sing, yelling her stress out. Reina likes to sing breakup songs for this, it's not like she had a breakup, it's just when she's feeling down, it fits the mood, in her opinion. On Reina's mind now, it's one of BoA's song with the lyrics "Even though you said we'll make pasta next time, to let's go traveling next year, and that you'll protect me forever." (The song is BoA's Eien, the one Reina played on FIVE STARS 2 weeks ago.) Reina thinks the expression for this song is hard to deliver, also the melody and rhythm are hard too. She wants to practice until she can get this song down. Another song is, Nishino Kana's Motto. All this talk is making Reina want to go to Karaoke right now! Also, she listens to music for relieve as well, not to sing it, just to listen. Reina says she really loves music. Since she's also human, there's no avoiding being stressed at times.... about 5 times per week [BoA - Mamoritai White Wishes] RIIIIIII YO~~~~~~~~ [C-ute - SHOCK!] MY FIVE STAR: Reina went to watch Terminator 4 (Salvation) recently. She relates it to Japan going to Digital terrestrial television broadcasting soon (Reina is making a Skynet reference here, but does not refer to it by name). Reina notices how the machines keeps evolving over the 4 movies. So Reina was on the NHK's Robocon show not too long ago. At first, Reina had zero interest for robots, she was scared of them. Before she went on the show, she had no interest on robots, since she didn't know anything about them at all. However, her thinking has changed now. Reina thinks the robots are incredible how they can dance and jump and spin. Reina is amazed how guys and girls her age, or even younger than her, made those robots. She thinks these people must be super smart, because one false move, and you might electrocute yourself! And like how the metals are sharp, it'll hurt! When Reina heard one of the students gave up going on a school field trip to work on his robot to try and win the contest, she at first thought it was such a waste, the student wasting his youth on a robot. But when saw how thankful those students were, from getting all these experiences, and then writing out what they feel, Reina was touched. She thinks they are living their time in meaningful ways. So how does this relate to Terminator? As we know, the movies are about how robots have taken over the world, and it's like the end of mankind. So Reina was pretty scared by it after watching the movie. Then the next day, she went to Robocon! She was so afraid! She thought, what if they jumped at her! What is she going to do! But after hearing the students talk about their experiences, it made her change her thoughts, and think robots are pretty fun. Reina blames her mom for saying weird things that scared her. When there was a new robot announced that can walk, and they're watching it (probably on TV), Reina's mom said, "This thing will become human like...one day. It's gonna be only all robots....on earth." So because of this, Reina can't help but to be scared about this topic. Reina thinks that technology is always evolving, like how Gameboy went from monochrome to color, how mobile phones replaced pagers, the invention of blu-ray, analog tv going to digital... Reina really wonders how the future will be like. Not really like worry, but look forward to what's to come. Reina really thinks those students on the Robocon show were amazing, so much that after the show, it made her regret how she didn't find such a good hobby herself, back during her school years.
