And then, Reina had blonde hair back then, and was told that she gives off a Goto Maki vibe, even though they don't look similar at all. This was the first time Reina was told to resemble a guy, so it was pretty refreshing and interesting to hear. During the photo shoot, Reina wanted to do it in a Beyonce style, Reina used her as a model to show of her own appeal. She hopes we'll look forward to it.

[Morning Musume - Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai]

First listener says that the new single, Onna ga Medatte naze Ikenai, will be released soon, and would like to ask a question relating to it. Who does Reina think stands out the most in Morning Musume?
Reina thinks it's herself. (Gives off an embarrass laugh) She says that everyone sees the world as if it's revolving around them, so probably everyone would say the same. Well, Reina expects that a lot of people will go "HA?", hearing that she thinks of herself as the most stand out member, but that's what she really thinks and always tries her best at work, to aim for being the most stand out person.

Second listener wishes Reina a happy new year and wonders how she spent her new year.
On the night of Dec 31, Reina was out at a Karaoke with her friends until around 11PM, then she went home to be with her family. They ate Toshikoshi Soba (Year end noodles) that her mom made and counted down together. Reina then went for Hatsumode (first temple visit of the year) with 8 of her friends from school, and her mom. This is when she realized she forgot something. She was sending out new year messages to everyone she knows, using her phone...she has everyone all organized into groups. (This is something that Reina has mentioned during the Mobekimasu MC on Jan 9th.) She realized that she doesn't know JunJun's phone number! They've been in Morning Musume together for almost 3 years... And Reina sees on her list, addresses that she doesn't know who it belongs to. (Not mentioned here, but during that concert MC, Reina did apologize to JunJun and said that even though she doesn't know JunJun's phone number, she knows her email (phone) address.)

[Yusuke - Ichyo]

Reina really likes the PV for this song. The reason Reina knows about this PV is because one of her friends sang it during the new years eve karaoke mentioned above, even when her friend is a girl, she just sang it with the male key. It was the first time Reina saw that PV and thought the lyrics was really nice, it's really touching (Talks about a feeling of a guy has for a girl, and the wonderful things they have experienced together.) Reina likes how the PV was filmed to show the lyrics of the songs exactly. She hopes we can all enjoy the PV as well. (Watch it here)

Reina wants to talk about the winter concerts. It's the first time since she joined Morning Musume that there are so many shows in a roll. Further more, there are 2 different shows (Mobekimasu and Shuffle Date) intertwined together. During one MC segment of the Shuffle Date, there is a Hello! Project members top 3 ranker for different things, result from surveys of all the members. Reina was nominated for a few of these, including: Most fashionable (Reina thinks this one was not used during the MCs, I haven't check myself to confirm this.), where she got 2nd! "What do you mean 2nd?! Shouldn't it be 1st!!!" She really believes this Although she's grateful for getting 2nd, but she would prefer 1st instead. For another ranker, best lips, Reina got 3rd. This one she's truly delighted about, since she never expected to be so high on the list. Reina, herself wrote down Sudou Maasa of Berryz Koubou, and Nakajima Saki of C-ute because she thinks they have good color, pretty lips. Ended up that Maasa was ranked 1st, and Nakki got 2nd. When it was announced that Reina was third, she was like, "Ha?! Wuuut?" Reina thinks that her own lips are pale and light and are totally not good. Turns out, the reason she won 3rd was because of how others noticed that she always takes care of lips, using lip gloss and lip balm. Reina jokes that, "So everyone were staring at my lips." She's truly happy about this. And, Reina got 2nd for most sexy pajama She thinks her own pajama are lame, and is embarrassed about it, so she's going to try some more cute looking ones. Of all the rankings, Reina didn't get 1st for anything, even though she got into top 3 for many of them, so she's still happy. On the day of the concert DVD recording, Reina was in the MC segment, for Mobekimasu. Mo-be-ki-ma-su are broken up into 5 pieces and each girl have to make sentences starting with each syllable. Since it was for the DVD, Reina thought really hard about what to say for each. Here's what she came up with:

Mo -> "How old do you think you are? At least you should be able to do this", being told by friends and her mom.
Be -> I think it's not a problem,
Ki -> Cause it's awkward,
Ma -> Like, just being by myself,
Su -> I can't do it, I'm afraid to ride the plane or Shinkansen (bullet train) all by myself!

It might seem this serves no purpose, but there actually is a reason. For Reina, she's 20 now, yet, she can't ride these transportation by herself. So this year, she's aiming to over come this fear..... but probably impossible For example, you'd joke around and chat while around friends, but feel awkward and embarrass when all by yourself, not knowing what to do. Well, that's not her only reason... So Reina will try to over come this.

Reina gives five stars to the new year winter concerts.

Advertisement about Morning Musume in YOMIURI LAND EAST LIVE. Reina reminds us about how she wore sunglasses during the rehearsal, and to see if it's on the DVD.
